Catholic Hospital Wamba is a Tier 3 (Level 4) hospital located in Samburu East-Sub County. The hospital serves the population of Samburu County and its environs through the provision of preventive, promotive and curative health services since 1969.

Tuberculosis remains a major cause of morbidity and mortality in Kenya. It affects all age groups, but has its greatest toll in the most productive age group of 15 to 44 years. Catholic Hospital Wamba is has set a specific programme and department to help those affected.
Huruma Home is a children’s orphanage, at Wamba Catholic Mission Hospital founded in 1969, which takes care of orphaned children from ages of 0 to 18 years. Currently the home has over 150 children, both boys and girls. The home offers real hope for some of Samburu’s most needy children through providing a warm homely environment.
